New IRB Information as of 9/1/2022
The Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) of the main campus and HSC campus are finalizing the integration of their programs. The Human Research Protections Program is happy to announce that effective Thursday, September 1,2022, the transition from the Cayuse IRB online platofrm will be complete. Beginning September 1, all IRB related activities will be conducted through the IRBManager Platform. All active studies have now been loaded into the IRBManager System and researchers can access their information at any time. The Cayuse IRB system will no longer be available for use after August 31, 2022.

Account Creation
For all new user account requests, please send an email with the following information to the IRB office at irb@uthct.edu Email Subject Line: New User Request
- First Name
- Last Name
- Credentials (BS, MS, PhD, MD, etc)
- Institutional email address
- Phone number
- Address (will default to the University address unless otherwise specified)
Once your account has been created you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions and guidance documents. This process could take up to 3 business days.
