Mr. Nu'uhiwa joined UT Tyler in March 2019 as the Case Manager and Conduct Officer/Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Since his arrival at the institution, Mr. Nu'uhiwa took charge of the Campus Assessment, Response, and Evaluation ("CARE") Team; he serves as a conduct officer, where he applies educational and restorative justice techniques; and is humbled to continue his work in Title IX.

Mr. Nu'uhiwa is certified to conduct investigations through the National Center for Campus Public Safety and Association of Title IX Administrators ("ATIXA"). Also, Mr. Nu'uhiwa received additional training to address at-risk students in crisis through the National Behavioral Intervention Team Association ("NaBITA").

Before his arrival to UT Tyler, Mr. Nu'uhiwa served as Program Assistant for the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards and Investigator for the Office of Title IX at the University of the Pacific's Stockton, Sacramento, and San Francisco, California campuses.
