Student Organization Orientation

Orientation is offered to help leaders of student organizations navigate the UT Tyler campus and conduct business on campus, and is required by Texas state legislation.

A student organization's registration will not be complete until all the authorized representatives and the faculty/staff advisor have attended an orientation session.

The following dates are scheduled orientation meetings for the 2018-2019 academic year:

August 29 - 3:30pm - 5:00pm - UC Theatre

August 30 - 3:30pm - 5:00pm - UC Theatre

September 4 - 3:30am - 5:00pm UC Theatre

September 5 - 1:15pm - 2:30pm - UC Theatre

January 15 - By Appointment - Student Life & Leadership Office

If one of your members cannot make any of the dates because of class then accommodations can be made for them or you may send another representative to take their place. These representatives will be receiving emails from Student Life, authorized to check your mailbox, and submit room reservations.

Remember, orientation sessions must be attended in person once per academic year in order to complete the registration requirements.  You can also sign-up for the online option by clicking here.
