The Department of Computer Science offers the bachelor of science in computer science, bachelor of science in computer information systems and master of science in computer science. UT Tyler computer science graduates possess a strong foundation in the theories and practices necessary for career success in computer technologies.
The Department of Technology offers the bachelor of science in industrial technology and the bachelor of science in industrial technology with emphasis in surveying and mapping, both accredited by the Association of Technology, Management and Applied Engineering (ATMAE). Graduates are well prepared for management-oriented technical professions including plant manager, quality assurance manager, industrial engineer, manufacturing engineer and land surveyor.
