Audio Visual, Sound Reinforcement, Lighting and Stage Equipment

The University Center has modest yet respectable resources to assist you with your event. If you have a request beyond basic support (a microphone and a projector), it is best to schedule an appointment to better coordinate resources.

To reserve audio visual, sound, light or stage support for your event in the University Center, you must first submit an Event/Facilities Request Form securing a location for your event.

Only university departments and recognized student organizations are allowed to reserve University Center resources.

Sound and Lighting Reinforcement

We have installed as well as portable systems that accommodate our in-house venues for events ranging from lectures to small bands. Stop by to see how we can help enhance your next event.


Our staging sections are 6 feet by 8 feet and 16 inches tall. We have six total sections of stage and two sets of stairs.

There may be charges for events after 2 p.m. or outside of the regularly scheduled hours of operation of the University Center. Charges may include but are not limited to: housekeeping, set-up, facilities staff and security. If your event requires additional set up for or displaces another event, your organization may be charged for those costs.

If you have a large event that has an involved set-up, it may be necessary to reserve additional time for the set up and take down of your event.
