Dual Credit - PACE Program
High School Preparation: To be eligible for admission to the UT Tyler Pace Program, an applicant must be in attendance at an approved partnering high school. Beginning dual credit students must submit an official high school transcript and official test scores before classes begin and enrollment in eligible coursework will be granted.
Test Scores: Students must submit official test scores from one of the following categories to prove proficiency and college readiness in the areas of reading, writing and math.
- High School Exit: Highest level of STAAR or TAKS completed.
- College Entrance: PLAN or ACT or SAT if taken.
- College Placement: TSI Assessment, unless exempt.
Application: Effective for fall 2017, PACE Program students will complete the application/course request online through DualEnroll.com. This will be completed in the spring each year for the following school year. Refer to enrollment procedures for more information/instructions on how to create a student account and complete the application in DualEnroll.com.
High School Transcript: An official in-progress high school transcript is required for final admission. Incoming high school freshmen may submit a letter of acceptance showing their admission into an approved partnering high school program in lieu of the official high school transcript.
College Transcripts: Official transcripts are required from each college or university attended, if prerequisites must be met for course enrollment. Photocopies and faxed transcripts will not be considered. Course work from one college posted on the transcript of another college will not be considered.
Special Note: Upon high school completion, students must re-apply using ApplyTexas and meet the published freshman admission requirements in order to be accepted as a degree-seeking student. This process will ensure that all students are given the opportunity for scholarship and financial aid funding.
