Updating the Faculty Job Portal

Add Job Posting

To update the UT Tyler faculty job portal, users will need log-in credentials created by the Web Team.

  1. Log in to the UT Tyler faculty portal by going to: apps.uttyler.edu/mc
    Login credentials are your credentials you use to log in to your computer each day.
  2. Select "Create New Job. Complete ALL sections of the form.
  3. After the content is added to the form, select the "save" button.
    You job posting should now display within the correct college on the Faculty Jobs page.

Remove Faculty Job Posting

To completely remove a faculty job posting:

  1. Log in to the portal as instructed above.
  2. From the jobs list, select "Delete". This will completely delete the job list from the database.


To inactivate the job for later use:

  1. Log in to the portal as instructed above.
  2. Select the Job Posting you wish to edit.
  3. Change Status to "Close" and Publish Job Opening" to "No".
  4. Select the "Save" button.
