The College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Texas at Tyler offers diverse academic programs that link learning to life through the spirit of discovery.

As a student in the UT Tyler College of Arts and Sciences, you will develop the knowledge, skills and perspectives necessary for success in the world of work and for participation in a society that demands critical and imaginative thought.
Sixteen baccalaureate majors are offered, ranging from traditional humanities and sciences to the social sciences, fine arts and communication.You also can choose from several excellent pre-professional programs, including pre-law, pre-theology, pre-med, pre-dental and other pre-professional health tracks.
The college offers 11 discipline-based master's degrees, as well as an interdisciplinary studies master's degree that allows you to create a personalized program incorporating an interdisciplinary blend of graduate courses.
At UT Tyler, classroom learning in the arts and sciences is enhanced by numerous extra- and co-curricular activities and travel study programs. Many opportunities exist for students to explore their personal interests by working directly with faculty members on individual projects.
