RESEARCH EXPERICENCE

August, 2005 to May, 2009 – Doctoral thesis research under Dr. Charles L. Hussey.  I studied the electron transfer rate constant of Ferrocene/Ferrocenium mixture in four different ionic liquids.  The ionic liquids contained the same anion, bis((trifluoromethyl) sulfonyl)imide, with various cations, tri-1-butylmethylammonium, 1-methyl-3-ethylimidazolium, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium, and 1-butylpyridinium.
