Important Information for Summer 2017 Financial Aid

Beginning with summer 2017, there will no longer be a separate Summer Financial Aid Application posted online! In previous years, students wishing to receive financial aid for the summer terms had to submit a separate summer aid application through our website. This is no longer necessary. To be considered for aid during the summer 2017 term students must have a valid 2016-17 FAFSA on file and be enrolled in at least six total credit hours for the summer term.  The Office of Financial Aid will review your account for eligibility and offer applicable awards as we move closer to the summer term.  Please note that all eligibility requirements still apply including meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress at the end of the spring term, yearly and lifetime loan limits, and yearly and lifetime Pell limits.

For information about important dates please consult the financial aid calendar.

Need to inform the financial aid office of a change in your academic status or turn in additional documentation? The financial aid forms library may have what you are looking for.

Stay informed! Remember to check your Patriot email and your MyUTTyler regularly for information about your financial aid at The University of Texas at Tyler.

Please remember that in order to process the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), students must be admitted to UT Tyler, have a valid Social Security number on file with the Office of Admissions and be a degree seeking student at UT Tyler. Non-degree seeking students are NOT eligible for financial aid.
