Weaver Named NSCAA Academic All-Region

TYLER -- UT Tyler women's soccer player Amanda Weaver was named a National Soccer Coaches of America Association Scholar All-Region for the 2012 season.  To be named Scholar All-America, a college student must attain a 3.30 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Weaver, a senior defender from Arlington, garnered Honorable Mention Scholar All-Region, boasting a 3.9 grade point average and helping UT Tyler to its best season ever, finishing as runner-up in the American Southwest Conference with an 11-1 record. More...
