RICHARDSON -- UT Tyler men's and women's cross country runners Conner Benson and Carly Kitts have been named the American Southwest Conference Cross Country Runners of the Week. The pair each helped their teams to first-place wins at the Braveheart Invitational.

Benson, a junior from Humble, finished fourth at the Braveheart, running a 16:01.74, helping lead the Patriots to a first-place team finish.

Kitts, a senior from Midlothian, won the Braveheart Invite, running a 19:36.14 to lead the field of 88 runners. More…
