Jessica Miller, graduate admissions recruiter, and Michael Giordano, assistant director of graduate admissions, have been selected to present at the 29th annual NAGAP Conference.
Also known as the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management, NAGAP is the only professional organization devoted exclusively to the concerns of individuals working in the graduate enrollment management environment.
Held each April, the conference brings more than 900 GEM professionals together to gain insight and knowledge from peers and experts in the field.
The 2016 conference theme is “Embracing Collaboration in the Student Lifecycle: Instrumental to Success.” Miller and Giordano will present “Keeping in Touch: Using an effective email and CRM strategy to encourage prospects to apply."
“Their session will demonstrate how our graduate admissions office reinvented its email strategy, which resulted in an increase in the number of prospects who moved to applicants and a higher click-through rate on emails,” said Dr. Alecia Wolf, assistant dean of The Graduate School at UT Tyler and director of graduate admissions.
Miller holds a bachelor of science in music education from Belmont University in Tenn. and a master of science in criminal justice from UT Tyler. Giordano holds a bachelor of arts in English and psychology from the University of Connecticut and a master of arts in teaching from Sacred Heart University.
UT Tyler’s graduate programs are designed specifically to fit the schedules of busy, working professionals. Most programs are offered on both a full-time and part time basis and include online classes, weekend and evening courses and hybrid courses that blend online and on-campus learning.
