Nationally-renowned businessman Ezra Uzi Yemin will give a lecture to the Tyler community 6:30 – 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 in the University Center Theater.

Yemin will give insights to his business practices. Yemin is chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer of Delek US Holdings, Inc., a diversified downstream energy business focused on petroleum refining, the wholesale distribution of refined products and convenience store retailing.

Yemin has served as chairman of Delek US since 2013, CEO since June 2004 and as president as well as a director since April 2001. His duties include the formulation of Delek US' policies and direction, oversight of top executives and overall responsibility for the company's operation and performance.

Prior to joining Delek US, Yemin served from 2000 to 2001 as the chief financial officer of Delek – The Israel Fuel Corporation. Additionally, he spent two years with CLAL Insurance Company Ltd., an insurance company in Israel; and two years in the Insurance Commissioner's Office of the Israel Ministry of Finance.
