We are the third-largest nursing school in Texas, providing high-quality, hands-on education since 1975. Our programs are consistently ranked as some of the best in the country, and our results speak for themselves: our pass rates for the NCLEX-RN exam exceed state and national averages. Our outstanding faculty and staff consisting of practitioners, leaders and researchers drive our success. Here, learning goes beyond the classroom and textbooks. Our state-of-the-art facilities on all three campuses reinforce your skills and present more hands-on opportunities. Our NextGen Hospital, for example, is a simulation and skills lab that replicates a real hospital environment. Find your way around patient rooms, practice your techniques on high-fidelity simulators and become familiar with commonly used healthcare technologies. Throughout your studies, you are paired with a preceptor who serves as a coach and career mentor. Our faculty also actively engage with each student and are ready to guide you on this exciting chapter through one-on-one check-ins.
