Welcome to The University of Texas at Tyler!

The Office of Student Life & Leadership strives to ensure all UT Tyler students make the most of their college experience from acceptance through graduation.  Our orientation programs are designed to help future Patriots become competent, self-reliant learners who are devoted to and engaged in their higher education experience. 

The programs inform new students of campus policies and procedures, help with the academic and social transition to UT Tyler, prepare students to make reasoned and well-informed choices, and foster a sense of community by acclimating future Patriots to the UT Tyler campus and surrounding community.  More than that, the programs are designed to be relaxed and fun and provide an enthusiastic introduction to UT Tyler.
