Choose your career path
Two tracks, the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Track and the Enterprise Accounting Track are available to students who wish to study accounting at the University. Both tracks
lead to the Bachelor of Business Administration degree, which is designed to provide
students with the educational breadth of general education courses and a strong foundation
in the common business core.
The CPA Track is a four-year major in accounting that prepares students to seek CPA certification.
This track provides an opportunity for students to enroll in the five-year integrated
Master of Science in Professional Accountancy (MSPA), which simultaneously awards
both the BBA and the MSPA degrees. In combination, the BBA CPA Track and MSPA prepare
students to take the CPA exam and launch a successful career in public accounting.
The Enterprise Accounting track is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the common business core and with sufficient accounting education to achieve entry-level competencies for a career in industry. This track incorporates directed-elective options that enable students to fine tune their course work for specific industries while still providing a strong foundation that is valued across industries.
