Undergraduate Program

3 Options to the Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Degree
  1. General option (a traditional chemistry degree)
  2. Biochemistry option (equivalent to a degree in biochemistry at other institutions)
  3. UTeach option** (for students wishing to pursue careers in education)

*Any student who successfully completes the full requirements of any one of these options will, according to American Chemical Society guidelines, be a certified chemist upon graduation.

**Students completing the chemistry teaching option are certified to sit for the Texas state education exams.
