The University of Texas at Tyler makes its outstanding academic programs conveniently available to Longview area residents through the Longview University Center. Students experience cost-saving convenience, greater flexibility in scheduling their classes, and reduced travel expenses and commuting time to Tyler, all while receiving a degree from UT Tyler.
The Longview University Center currently offers courses in nursing, business, technology, liberal arts, math and sciences, and education. Students receive instruction from on-site professors, though Interactive Television, from the Internet or from a combination of these methods.
