Note: Freshman- and sophomore-year music courses are common to all music degrees. In the junior and senior years, the requirements diverge according to specialization. Students should note that unlike many college majors, specialized music study must begin with the first semester of freshman enrollment.  It is not possible to enroll only in core curriculum ("basics") courses during the first two years.
