The Office of Student Life and Leadership supports the mission of the University of Texas at Tyler by providing programs and activities designed to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
The purpose of Student Life and Leadership is to enhance the educational experience of students by engaging students in programs designed to create a smooth transition to college, promote learning, involvement, free inquiry, leadership, service and to build community. This is accomplished by partnering with students, faculty, staff and alumni as we prepare citizens for leadership in a global society.
