Give Today!

The University of Texas at Tyler is known for changing lives, and as a graduate, you stand as a testament to that fact. We are proud to count you among our alumni ranks because you, like so many, came here with an idea of your future in mind and worked hard to see that vision realized.

Many student success stories rely on the generosity of Patriots who preceded them. We’re proud to offer resources and technologies that allow any student, no matter their situation, to persist through college, onto the graduation stage and into their careers. But many of our crucial support services, from student academic assistance to faculty mentorship opportunities, can only happen with the support of alumni like you.

We’re proud of what the College of Education and Psychology continues to accomplish, like developing innovative pathways to teacher certification, including degree completion for paraprofessionals, and launching two major teacher retention initiatives.

As our education family continues to grow, I’d ask that you consider supporting future generations of Patriot alumni like you. Any amount you can give today will change lives tomorrow. You could help provide crucial support in these areas:

  • Scholarships and support for future teachers that strengthen teacher retention across East Texas
  • Professional development and fieldwork experiences, ensuring graduates are ready to thrive in diverse classrooms
  • Enhanced opportunities for faculty-led research and partnerships that drive innovative education practices in the region

Meet Hadassah Balcorta

Hadassah Balcorta
I am a sophomore early childhood through sixth grade education major from Gladewater, Texas. What inspired me to pursue education was a deep calling to provide children with the opportunity to put their best foot forward and grow into the greatest versions of themselves. I believe that during their formative years, children need a safe and encouraging environment where they can learn without fear of making mistakes, explore their creativity and discover their own unique interests.
