Bacterial meningitis record is required before enrollment in classes. Undergraduate students should submit the appropriate documentation from their health care provider to The One Stop Service Center, at STE 230, 3900 University Blvd, Tyler, TX 75799, or submit via an email with attachments to enroll@uttyler.edu.

New Patriot Orientation is required for all freshmen before you can register for classes. It’s a great way to learn about campus life and get your schedule ready!

Freshmen are required to live on campus unless they meet exemption requirements.
The steps for how to apply for housing:
-Log in to your myUTTyler student account
-Select "Important Links"
-Selecct "Housing"
-Select "Application"
-Choose between University Pines or UT yler managed properties*
-Follow on-screen instructions to complete the housing application (or waiver), room selection, and housing contract.
If you’ve taken dual credit classes, have your official college transcript's sent to UT Tyler so you receive credit toward your degree.

Campus Technology

  • Technology Support Center supports students, faculty and staff by providing an information-technology based environment composed of the necessary computing resources and related support.
  • myUTTyler allows you to: review and pay your account, review financial aid, register and drop classes, check class availability, complete a degree audit, review your class schedule, and view your grades and unofficial transcript.
  • Canvas is your Learning Management System at The University of Texas at Tyler. Canvas gives you access to your online, hybrid, and technology enriched courses.

  • The Technology Support Center Computer Lab is a general-use computer lab that is open to all students. Nursing, education, engineering and other colleges have computer labs specifically for their students.
  • The library offers computers for student use. Online databases are also available to students for scholarly research.

  • Student Email Patriot*Email is a service provided by The University of Texas at Tyler to all students and faculty.
