Give Today!

The University of Texas at Tyler is known for changing lives, and as a graduate, you stand as a testament to that fact. We are proud to count you among our alumni ranks because you, like so many, came here with an idea of your future in mind and worked hard to see that vision realized.

Many student success stories rely on the generosity of Patriots who preceded them. We’re proud to offer resources and technologies that allow any student, no matter their situation, to persist through college, onto the graduation stage and into their careers. But many of our crucial support services can only happen with the support of alumni like you.

We’re proud of what the College of Education and Psychology continues to accomplish, like accreditation of the Doctor in Clinical Psychology by the American Psychological Association, launching of a reimagined Mentor Center using a near peer model, and creation of an internship program for undergraduate psychology majors.

As our psychology and counseling family continues to grow, I’d ask that you consider supporting future generations of Patriot alumni like you. Any amount you can give today will change lives tomorrow. You could help provide crucial support in these areas:

  • Expand student internship opportunities with mental health and community organizations
  • Fund conference attendance, clinical training and practicum placements that prepare students for counseling and psychology careers
  • Provide flexible funding for community-based mental health projects and research collaborations that directly benefit East Texas

Meet Giorgia Paggiaro

Giorgia Paggiaro
I was born in Europe, in a small town in Northern Italy. I always loved science, and mental health is something that I have always valued in my life. I knew I wanted to do something that could bring good into the world and support people of all kinds through decisions, tough times and just life. Psychology is the perfect fit. I want to learn how the human mind works, how we all interact with each other, and I yearn to have the knowledge to make a significant positive change in someone’s life.
