First Grade Literacy Intervention

K-12 Literacy Center

Pre-service teachers in the School of Education provide year-round supervised one-on-one tutoring assistance to first grade underachieving readers with a focus on strengthening foundational literacy skills and competencies. Instruction takes place twice per week before school in a local area school in Tyler.
