CPAN provides a variety of options for building a knowledge base for providers around child and adolescent mental health. All education is funded by the State of Texas and all services are offered at no cost to providers.
CPAN Continuing Education
Expand your knowledge on important child mental health topics, and connect with other clinicians in your region as you learn. All sessions are held virtually on the second Tuesday of each month from noon–1pm CT. Each session will consist of a 45-minute presentation with 15 minutes dedicated to case discussion. Register here to get more information and to see a list of upcoming session topics and dates.
CME credit will be provided through Baylor College of Medicine. For more information, email cosh@bcm.edu.
CPAN Project ECHO Continuing Education
Enrolled CPAN providers will have access to the Project ECHO series offered through the University of New Mexico. Using proven adult learning techniques and interactive video technology, the ECHO Model™ connects providers with specialists in regular real-time collaborative sessions. (Learn more about Project ECHO.)
The ECHO series is designed around case-based learning and mentorship by child and adolescent psychiatrists. During these sessions, PCP cohorts combine interactive learning and case-based sharing aspects of in-person training with the improved access and convenience of connecting virtually. This specialized training assists primary care providers in gaining the confidence and added expertise required to meet the needs of young patients with mild-to-moderate behavioral health needs right in their practices.
Each session is held from noon–1pm CT. Registration is required for Project ECHO sessions. Register here for the full series.
