Mary Baker, PsyD, is an assistant professor and program director of the Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program at The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine. Dr. Baker provides therapy and assessment services primarily to children and adolescents, specializing in autism assessments and trauma-informed care, including extensive training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Dr. Baker brings valuable experience from her work in child advocacy centers and has a strong background in delivering trauma-directed therapy across the lifespan.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Baker is dedicated to supervising and training the next generation of mental health professionals. She finds purpose and fulfillment in meeting individuals where they are, facilitating healing, and supporting growth in their lives.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Baker is an avid animal lover, sharing her life with four dogs, seven cats, and twelve chickens. She also enjoys spending time being an aunt, cherishing the joy of family and community.
