Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Welcome
Welcome to Our Fellowship
The Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is a newly ACGME-accredited, one-year program offering comprehensive training at the intersection of psychiatry and the law. Fellows gain hands-on experience in civil and criminal evaluations, correctional mental health, and expert testimony, supported by structured didactics, case conferences, and scholarly work. The program emphasizes statewide collaboration through partnerships with clinical, legal, and academic institutions and offers a unique opportunity to engage in weekly educational activities with forensic psychiatry fellows across Texas through the Texas Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Education Collaborative.
