The Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development collaborates with various units across the School of Medicine to ensure our faculty have access to a myriad of learning opportunities that meet their needs and interests. From undergraduate medical education, graduate medical education, clinical practices, research support, and general professional development, this page is designed to help you find ways in which you can meet CME requirements and/or advance your learning in your area of interest and engagement. Offerings may be in-person, virtual, or hybrid, with some offerings earning CME credits. Departmental meetings/seminars are also listed below to help inform the community on happenings around campus and to assist in planning around potential conflicts.
Faculty Affairs will host sessions for Interfolio/Fac180 training, P&T candidate trainings, orientation events, and other faculty related activities through each year. Watch for email communication and check back here often for dates/times!
We are happy to support you in advertising your offerings to the faculty. If your unit/department is hosting a professional development event, please send the relevant details to facultyaffairs@uthct.edu so that we can add it here for visibility. We can also send your event details via email to our internal and external faculty distribution lists.
