Nursing Pathways to Wellness & Success Summit:
April 2, 2026 at 10:00am - 3:00pm
UT Tyler Main Campus

A student-centered event focused on holistic wellness, resilience, professional growth, and various pathways to nursing success.

All nursing students are encouraged to attend! 

What You'll Gain

  • Practical tools to manage stress, build resilience, and protect your well-being.
  • You'll discover resources for both academic success and self-care, connect with peers and professionals who understand the journey, and start building the healthy habits that will carry you through nursing school and into your career.
  • Raffle prizes, wellness kits, free resources, and complimentary lunch!

To make the most of your day, you’ll want to review all options and register for each session in advance. 


Important: Every session, activity, and lunch requires registration through Patriots Engage. Make sure to RSVP for all the sessions you plan to attend so you can secure your spot!

Enjoy a complimentary boxed lunch (Chick-fil-A or Subway) and explore booths featuring vendors, community partners, and campus support services offering free merchandise, resources, and information.
 
Yoga Session - Chair Yoga
12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Synergy Studio)
Participate in a gentle chair yoga session to stretch, relax, and recharge.
 
Recharge Spaces
10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (BRB 2nd Floor & NUR 3rd Floor)
Take a moment to reset between sessions:
  • BRB 2800 - Activity Recharge Space: Fidget toys and hands-on activities for stress relief and focus. (Register)
  • NUR 3106 - Calm Recharge Space: Relax with comfy chairs, soothing music, and mood lighting. (Register)

FAQ

The Summit is a professional development event designed to support your growth as a nursing student and future nurse. It focuses on wellness, leadership, career readiness, and personal success strategies to help you thrive both academically and professionally. 

Please refer to your course faculty for attendance expectations. If it is tied to your course, attendance policies apply. 

Proper attire for the day is either:

  • UT Tyler scrubs, or

  • Professional attire.

Professional attire includes business or business-casual clothing such as slacks, dresses, skirts, blouses, button-down shirts, blazers, and closed-toe shoes. Please avoid jeans, leggings (unless under appropriate attire), athletic wear, or flip-flops. 

This is a professional event, and your attire should reflect that. 

  • A notebook or device for taking notes

  • A pen

  • Your student ID

  • A positive and professional mindset 

Yes! You’ll have opportunities at the Wellness & Resource Fair and lunch to engage with faculty, guest speakers, community partners and peers. This is a great time to practice professional communication and build connections. 

Yes — lunch will be served. More details will be shared soon. You must check in at one of the checks in times to be eligible for a lunch voucher.
