Making Appointments

The UT Tyler Writing Center provides a supportive and collaborative environment where students can improve their writing skills. Our consultants help students with all aspects of the writing process, from brainstorming and prewriting to drafting, revising, and editing. 

We offer both 30 minute and 60 minute consultations for undergraduate and graduate students. Our hours are by appointment only and can be done in person or online.

Appointment Options

All appointments are made using WCOnline. You can choose online or in-person options. We do not accept emailed paper submissions. You can access an appointment in the two following ways:

Synchronous online: meet with us in WCOnline for a live sessions working through the paper. This includes the options for audio/video chatting.

In-Person: Come to CAS 212 at the time of your appointment to meet with your consultant in person to work through your paper. Please bring your computer or a print copy of your paper to this session.
