Matt "Scully" Sullivan Memorial Scholarship

Matt “Scully” Sullivan is the son of David & Stephanie Sullivan of Palestine. He graduated from Palestine High School in 2001 & UT Tyler’s College of Engineering in 2008. While pursuing his degree at UT Tyler, he was offered an internship at EMA Engineers & Consultants. Upon graduation this turned into a full-time opportunity & he remained employed there until his death in 2022. He & his wife, Erin, were married in 2020 and he welcomed her children, Colton & Kaitlyn, into his heart with open arms. Matt had dozens of people who called him their best friend. He was known as a helper who could fix anything. He had a never-ending desire to figure out how things worked which had its beginnings when he & his dad refurbished his sister’s ’65 Mustang. Matt would be very happy to know that this Endowment has been established in his memory to help others pursue their dreams in Mechanical Engineering. His family & friends will be very grateful for any donations made in his honor. Thank you.
