Clinical and/or Research Interests:
Conducting antimicrobial susceptibility testing and investigating resistance mechanisms
in nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM), Nocardia, and other aerobic actinomycetes to
evaluate antimicrobial response patterns and characterize mechanisms contributing
to resistance. Research focuses on understanding genetic and phenotypic factors influencing
antimicrobial susceptibility, including the role of specific mutations in treatment
response, to support improved therapeutic strategies for complex and difficult-to-treat
infections.
