Clinical and/or Research Interests:

I am highly interested in pursuing a career in Medical Laboratory Sciences and plan to obtain my MLS certification within the next two years after completing my bachelor's degree in biology. My passion for this field began during my early chemistry and biology laboratory courses, where I developed a strong appreciation for diagnostic science and the role it plays in patient care. Additionally, my experiences shadowing dentists and physicians throughout my college career have given me valuable insight into the healthcare setting and reinforced my interest in working behind the scenes to support clinical decision-making. These experiences have solidified my commitment to contributing to patient outcomes through laboratory science.
