Biography
Allan Tellis is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at UT Tyler. His research focuses on political philosophy, political theory, and public policy.
Specifically, he examines how different conceptualizations of liberty legitimize and
necessitate various policy regimes. His current work explores how antipower and decentralization function to secure liberty,
understood as nondomination, in the context of a republic. He also conducts research
in monetary theory, investigating how different monetary institutional regimes either
support or undermine the goal of nondomination.
