- All food served or delivered to campus shall comply with all applicable NET Health regulations which can be found on the NET Health website: https://www.mynethealth.org/.
- Any food served or delivered to campus must come from a NET Health permitted vendor. NET Health permits for all food vendors must be submitted to EH&S prior to providing food to UT Tyler. If using Grubhub - food delivery service, order food only from a permitted food vendor below.
- Inside Setup/Catering and Food Trucks will also need the necessary Certificate of Insurance on file with Risk Management prior to providing food to UT Tyler.
- Vendors bringing food from outside of Smith County will have to obtain a NET Health Temporary Food Establishment Permit prior to serving any food on campus.
- Potlucks are allowed provided they are closed events and attendees are strictly limited to members of a single organization or single department. Potlucks cannot be open to the campus community, student body, or members of the public.
- Bake Sales are not permitted unless they comply with the Cottage Food Law, information on compliance can be found here: https://texascottagefoodlaw.com/ . Prepackaged store-bought items are acceptable unless purchased from an in-store bakery, then the NetHealth Food Permit is required.
- The Department of Environmental Health and Safety is the on-campus authority for all matters of food safety.
