Our dance and cheer teams has grown 165% in the past year. The program is seeking
additional funding to continue to foster excellence.

Dalton Johnson with Sports information at UT Tyler is here to broadcast all sports at UT
Tyler. We partner with a broadcast partner per the LSC to ensure compliance. We are
required in all sports besides soccer to have 2 cameras in all sports. The group is asking
for a slight increase to accommodate purchasing new cameras for these games. This
budget also accommodates funding for the video boards at the athletic fields.

Rick McGill in Intramural Sports presented a budget to remain relatively flat to only
increase about 1300 dollars. This is intended to cover some raises for professional staff.
Club sports has been developed within the past few years and is supplemented by Rec
Sports. The Rec Sports program works to ensure a positive environment on campus to
give students opportunities to grow as athletes and people.

Joshua Neaves presented for Campus Activities the budget stayed flat for this year. This
budget is changing to adhere to a change that will require the student workers who were
previously on scholarship to receive student wages. They employ three students.
Campus activities has had over 7900 check-ins and 72 campus events this semester.

Joshua Neaves presented for Leadership and Service for a flat budget to fund The East
Texas Big Event and the Leadership and Service Awards. An increase will be needed for
the future to continue the growth of on-campus leadership and service opportunities.
This will ensure that the East Texas Big Event continues to grow. Looking for the future
to bring back a leadership summit for student org leaders.

The Student Government is proposing a flat budget for next year. This funding funds the
SGAC committee that is maxing out the funding. The finals bags for students and
Midnight Breakfast. This budget has been close to hitting zero for the past few years.

Greek Life is proposing a flat budget to ensure that students on campus can be involved
in Greek Life. Students are finding their community and their second home in Greek Life
at UT Tyler.

Student Engagement at UT Tyler is proposing a flat budget. This budget supplements
the ESports team at UT Tyler and offset any overages other accounts have. Student
Engagement creates many opportunities on campus, including funding Patriots Engage
for our students on campus.
