The University of Texas at Tyler Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy offers the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum in a student-centered, innovative format that will prepare you to become an exceptional pharmacist.

As a pharmacy student at UT Tyler, you will benefit from a curriculum that utilizes team-based learning in many courses, an interactive format proven to more effectively engage students than traditional classroom lectures. You are an active participant in the learning process, with guidance from a faculty of experts devoted to your success.  W.T. Brookshire Hall has been built to provide access to faculty and an open, interactive environment.

The pharmacy school is housed in W.T. Brookshire Hall, a first-class facility specially designed for interactive learning and easy access to faculty.

The UT Tyler Pharm.D. program is a four-year course of study and requires at least two years of prerequisite coursework.

If you are interested in taking undergraduate classes that fulfill the requirements for many health care professions, check out the UT Tyler Pre-Med Academy. The Pre-Med Academy provides advising and support with the goal of developing students into competitive candidates for graduate programs in the health professions.
