Fifth Year Accounting Student Scholarship Program

Application and Award Process

Applications will be made available in the School of Business for students intending to take the CPA examination.

Deadline to submit applications to the Financial Aid Office:

  • Fall/spring or fall only: July 1 each year
  • Spring only: November 1 each year
  • Contact: Dr. Veronda Willis (BUS 154A)Complete Applications (Section I) will be submitted to the School of Business. Designated staff (dean or chair for Accounting Department) will verify eligible student consideration AND complete Section II of the application.

Application for eligible students will be forwarded to the Financial Aid Office by specified deadline date for completion of Section III (certification of eligibility & award amount). Students must have a completed financial aid file before applications can be processed.

Scholarship awards will be added to the student's financial aid package. Award notifications or REVISED award notifications, with adjustments, will be sent to the Patriot email account. The minimum award per semester is usually $1,500 and the maximum lifetime award is usually $7,500.
