During spring break, UT Tyler physical plant officials will oversee the drilling of a test well for possible irrigation usage on campus, Chip Clark, director of facilities, planning, construction and operations, announced.

The test well, which will be located near the two soccer fields and west of the Summers Tennis Building, will be drilled to determine if a suitable aquifer is available for the university’s irrigation needs.
