The UT Tyler Center for Global Education will hold a special workshop to discuss the
2012 Freshman Summer Reading Program selection, Dreaming in Chinese by Deborah Fallows, Dr. Jill Blondin, center director, announced.
The workshop, led by Dr. Ann Beebe and UT Tyler Freshman Book Committee members, is
9 a.m. – noon Tuesday, May 15 at the University Center ballroom.
“The workshop will present information about the book and focus on ways that faculty
and staff members can incorporate the book into their courses. We encourage everyone
to attend,” Blondin said.
Information about New Student Convocation, in which Fallows will discuss her book,
also will be given, she added.
