UT Tyler will hold a reception to welcome international faculty for the 2012 – 13 academic year, Dr. Jill Blondin, Center for Global Education director, announced.

The universitywide reception will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7 in the UT Tyler James H. Stewart, Jr. Administration Building, room 301.

“We are honored to have these new faculty members at UT Tyler and want to welcome them to our campus,” Blondin said.

This year, international faculty members hail from India, Korea and Peru, among other countries.

“We hope this reception becomes an annual event,” Blondin added.
