In order to help resolve some of the parking issues, the university will restripe some of the parking lots. During the resurfacing project this summer, some of the parking spaces were made too large, which lessened the number of spaces in the lot. The restriping will address those spaces.

The lots to be restriped are:

Lot 15 – closed after 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5

Lot 9 – closed after 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6

Students should remember that after 5 p.m. all parking spaces (including those reserved) are open with the exception of those marked as handicapped and any areas marked as fire lanes.

The university also is discussing the construction of temporary parking lots. These lots will be added soon.
