UT Tyler will hold a public art history lecture at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 in the UT Tyler Fine Arts Complex, room 112, Dr. Clair Robertson, assistant professor of art history, announced.

Dr. Mark Thistlethwaite, Kay and Velma Kimbell chair of art history at Texas Christian University, will discuss "Washington Crossing the Delaware as Icon and Cliché."

The UT Tyler Department of Art and Art History serves as sponsor.
