The UT Tyler Veterans Resource Center will co-sponsor a universitywide meet and greet event, Amanda Bayatpoor, center coordinator, announced.

The event will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at the University Center Blue Room and coincide with a pizza study break for Patriots Rise, the Student Veterans of America chapter on campus.

“This event is all about support,” said Bayatpoor. “Anyone interested in joining Patriots Rise is invited, as well as all veterans, dependents, faculty, staff and students. This will also be a way to break between studying for finals and meet other veterans and military supporters. Please feel free to bring your families.”
