RICHARDSON -- UT Tyler women's basketball forward Brittany King has been named the American Southwest Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday. King had a stellar week, highlighted by her 26 point, 21 rebound game on Saturday against Texas-Dallas.

King, a junior from Mesquite helped lead the Patriots to a 62-57 win over the Comets in a battle for first-place in the conference standings. More...
