Chance Johnson, environmental health and safety specialist, was recognized Feb. 15 for his recent life-saving action. Johnson successfully performed the Heimlich maneuver on co-worker Joy Shogry, administrative assistant, when she choked in the office.

Dr. Randall Powell, vice president for business affairs, presented Johnson with a certificate in appreciation of his quick response.
