RICHARDSON -- UT Tyler men's tennis player Ryan Ybarra has been named the American Southwest Conference east division men's player of the week. Ybarra, a senior from Palestine is the No. 17 ranked player in the nation according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Ybarra led the Patriots to a 2-0 start to the season by winning at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against nationally-ranked programs Gustavus Adolphus and Oklahoma Christian. Ybarra teamed with Daniel Brown for a pair of 9-7 wins in doubles. More...
