PINEVILLE, La. -- The No. 12 ranked UT Tyler baseball team defeated American Southwest Conference rival Louisiana College 8-7 on Friday evening, clinching the 2013 East Division Championship. The division crown is the eighth in Patriots baseball history.

The win would not come easy, with Louisiana College (20-16, 10-6) needing a three-game sweep of the Patriots to clinch the division. More...
