UT Tyler Food Services to Open Additional Venues for Summer

UT Tyler will open additional food venues this summer, Al Mariani, food services director, announced.

Beginning June 3, Subway will be open 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

“I’d like to thank Al, who just started with our campus late in the spring, for his hard work in making this happen. We know our students and guests – as well as the university community as a whole – will appreciate having additional dining options on campus this summer,” said Jesse Acosta, UT Tyler interim vice president for administration.

Summer hours for Chick-fil-A will be announced.

As a reminder, summer hours for Blends and Brews are 8 a.m. – noon Monday through Friday. The C-Store also is open 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

In addition, the Met Café will be available when serving summer camp participants, Mariani added.
